If you don't, if you have kids one day, would you spoil them?

i dont think that its right, then you end up haveing a kid that when they dont get what they want and they are used to getting everything they throw a screaming fit. its ok once in a while to give them something they want for good behavior or soemthing. but all the time spoil them not a good choice.

No kids here. I joke that I'd be the Hitler of motherhood. I would spoil at times but they wouldn't be spoiled. I believe that raising a child to be a responsible and productive member of society means helping them to appreciate the value of material goods, polite manners, etc. and they dont' learn those things if they are spoiled all of the time.

But I say this as a non-parent so who knows if that's realistic.

You should not spoil your kids unless you have a girl they need to get spoiled but it you spoil a boy he might turn out gay or worst.

to an extent yes! i think its ok but when they start acting like brats then no! stop it right away i spoiled mine but balanced it with not tolerating outbursts or screaming unrealistic expectations. kids want alot but they also want love which, hello, is free!!

Nope. It is not alright to spoil your children, because then they are going to be disrespectful, and be selfish.
