Quigley would be the middle name. We have already eliminated Rasputin

My wife and I compromised. The baby will be named Ralph Quiggley Fufkin. We are going to save Mortimer for our next child. Thanks for all the suggestions like Bartholomew, Tavish and Lancelot.

Lol, it amuses me when people ask about baby names on here.
Of course you're going to get a million different opinions. Which one will be easier for your baby to pronounce? That's the whole point. You try and pronounce it. Does it sound like one of those names that the teachers always mess up? Make it easier on the kid.
You can be unique without having a 18-syllable name. And Mortimor Quigley sounds kinda strange, by the way.

Almost everyone at some point gets their name made fun of, but don't make them face a whole lifetime of torment!
Counter to what people say, I kinda like Quiggly! (probably as a middle name only though)
I think Mortimer is the name of a Mean Rat in some Micky Mouse Cartoons....
I don't really like Derwood....
Some other names to consider
Levi, Edwin, Dillan, Bartholmew?, Will is good, not unique though, Reese, Lancealot, Thorton, Cowan, Emille, Ullesyus (from mythology, not sure if I spelled it correctly),Oliver, Demetri, .....
Check the internet, go to a public library, or book store and look up baby names
Remember that if it is hard to spell or pronounce, you might want to consider something else.
Also, we humans judge everything all around us, and so as soon as we hear a name we think of a certain character or type of personality. Mortimer Quiggly sounds kinda nerdy, or like an outcast, or a snooty rich person to me, and most likely not someone who's popular or has a lot of friends is that what you want for your baby? (SORRY) What comes to mind when you hear it? Take that into consideration when naming whoever-he'll-be
Hope I helped!!!!!

I personally do not like the name Mortimor Quigley. I don't know why though. I know that in experience having to unique a name will make them hate their names forever. Ralph isn't bad but to me isn't unique. Derwood I just don't like. Have you thought about a baby book.

I think those are all poor choices. The only thing I'd name "Mortimer Quigley" is a stuffed animal.
Keep looking. Carlos is obviously a good choice!

If you are attempting to go with "off the charts" terrible for you new little arrival, then I would say that Mortimor Quigley might just be what you should name him.
Bless his little heart!
I will just hope there will never be a Jr.

Not to be mean, but please don't name your baby that! Both are alittle roughf or the child. If you want something different, try Holden, Liam, Guy, Cooper, Rory, Kiernen or Tavish. Also, look the Baby Names website. Good luck!

ralph is the less of all the evils you mentioned, but still a little evil. More 1926 than 2006.
