I am on Yasmin and i took 2 sugar pills, then something came up and i want to skip my period this month, so i took 2 hormonal pills from the next pack. can i get pregnant doing this, as i wouldn'tve anyway if i hadnt taken them?

It's the same effect has missing two pills in a row. You should follow the instructions as though you had missed two active pills. Unfortunately, you're quite likely to get some spotting anyway, just becasue of the drop in hormones.

No, you wont have a period and might end up have spotting before time for your next period though. I took seasonal and all you do is take 12 weeks stright of normal pills and then have a period the 13th week.
