Beautiful Mistake is right, you don't actually need a minor (and education is generally not an option as she also said). Psychology is a very broad major that can get you a lot of different jobs, so you wouldn't really need a minor for help on getting a job. However, if you still want one, I know a lot of psychology majors that minor in similar subjects like sociology. Business is a good idea too. But if you are planning on going to grad school and getting a masters degree, that is what employers will be looking at, and an undergraduate minor won't make much difference. But remember, it's totally up to you! Good luck!

I have a degree is Psychology with a Minor in Sociology. It just sort of happened that way. The Core classes for each Major can be used as Electives in the other discipline. Also, another discipline that *might* prove useful is Anthropology (Study of man). A "Minor" is best when it supports or adds insight to the "Major", but that always hold true of course. A "Minor" can be something that just interests you or is fun. I doubt that a "Minor" is even needed or demanded for furthering your Education.

You probably don't need to minor in anything.. and I don't think you can minor in education (I'm not sure..), because it is kind of an extensive program. What I would do is minor in English if you really want a minor.. you can get a lot with an English degree, and I'm pretty sure you can teach (English) with that, after being certified to teach. Biology has something to do with psychology.. you could minor in sociology, women's studies, political science, philosophy.. but you really don't *need* anything.

A PR minor will provide your significant a form of specialization. which would be incredibly efficient in case you're especially finding for jobs in PR which, from the sound of it, you're. A minor in photograph layout won't be a back up plan. it can not provide you the comparable activity thoughts that a significant in photograph layout could because of the fact which you in simple terms have not got the comparable volume of coaching. that's not to assert this is a foul thought, nevertheless. in case you look via PR activity postings (i could propose doing that earlier making a call besides), a photograph layout historic past is often indexed as a plus. So, on an identical time as a minor in photograph layout can not get you a job in photograph layout, it may open extra doorways in the sector of PR as an entire. i think of a minor in photograph layout may well be an exceedingly super determination for you if it delivers the styles of layout skills which would be suited to your field. not understanding something with regard to the minor, i could incredibly look into what skills you would be presented with and whether those skills are suited to your field. in the event that they are, it might desire to be an stunning determination. the two way, scrap psychology. that is not stunning, it provides not something to your significant, and no employer is incredibly going to care which you studied it.

a minor is best used to help yourself and for your own personal growth. I would take buisnes if you want to open your own practice, or woman's studies if you want to help women to empower thenself's, or something totaly else like history or something to just broaden your self as to not let yourself become narrow minded.
