According to foxsports.com, Klinsmann has become the coach of the U.S. National Soccer Team. However, other sources are saying that the info presented by Fox Sports is false.

But anyway, can he be the man for the job?

NO, Peter Novak of DC united should coach. His victory over Chelsea should be proof enough.

He is the man for the job. He knows the U.S. system and his attacking style is what the national team has been missing. They have lost many 1-0 games to very good teams. He will get the most out of his players. On a scale of 1-10 he is a 15.

I think he is the perfect man for the job. His aggressive style is the kind that will interest the average American sports fan. Maybe get the same interest that the Women's soccer team use to get.

I personally hope he becomes coach. He did fairly well for Germany. If only negotiations would end and a contract would be signed, that'd be great.

If he doesn't take it though, or keeps screwing around with the contract, I hope they hire Jose Peckerman instead.

well, i think he made the right decision to leave Germany after the way they treated him. and i know the U.S.A aren't that great, but they're not horrible either. so if he becomes their coach, they might make quite an impact in 2010.

I know, but why is it taking so long to pick a coach, I'll do it. I heard the same thing you did, they say yes, they deny it, yes, no.

Yes, the US team needs a European ex-player/coach.

He's the best man for the job, but whether he will take the job is still up in the air.

well he can motivate the young Americans as well as the fans and people. If he can do that to this nation, even though it doesn't win a wc....he did something special.
