SO! like, in History, we are doing this one project, where we have partners and we have to pretend that we are the parents and we have a baby. we apparently have "adopted" the baby and have to take care of it. i am paired with my half friend Sam. (we ALWAYS get paired together, like in everything, and he's seemed to get pissed.) so this time we are paired together. and like he takes it so wrong, and he won't cooperate or anything! and he doesn't want to talk to me or anything. and ALSO, he looks at me like i am like i creature from somewhere that's not here. what am i supposed 2 do? i want to get an A, but still maintain my friendship with Sam in a comfortable way! HELP!

Tell him to grow up and be a man. He's a father now, afterall.

how can you even say he is your friend if he will barely talk to you and he is acting childish? Why is he getting upset everytime you two are paired together, are you sure he even likes you? I ask that becasue normally friends are happy when they are paired together instead of being paired with someone they don't like. First try talking to him and see what's wrong if that doesn't work then you should speak to your teacher about it and see if you can get a new partner or just do it by yourself. Like, totally :)

i've had this problem in my history class as well, only there was four people in the group too guys and too girls, and do you think that the two guys would stop staring out the window and work no they sat there talking about chicks and weather or no they woul screw them or not, and being we have classes twice some days we sat in the last class and talked the same way, we left them half the work to do and it got done... and we got a good mark

So the moral of the story..

Do as they do to you, just get the work done but don't tell them that

Just relax and be calm. You might intimidate him, make him feel dumb and he resents you for it. Do you talk a lot? Maybe tone it down a little. Do the work, if you get an opprotunity to praise him a little take it. Basically you're just trying to get through this so smile, do the work yourself if you have to, and have fun with the project. The teacher will see this, trust me, and you'll get a good grade.

If you consider Sam your "half friend" than maybe he is not a friend at all... there are no such things as "half friends". You need to decide what is more important to you, an A in class or your half friend... ask the teacher to change your partner.

Tell your teacher that you want to get a divorce and that they should start the legal proceedings on who will get custody of the kid - might be interesting.

If you do all your work in a group, I can't imagine a reason why he wouldn't want to be in your group... Maybe he wants to be in a different group with someone he likes(as in a crush)

say; "sucks being partners for everything huh?" in a kind non-judging way.
