not sure what you mean by political reason. The answer to that is no. Bush is damaged politically so it doesn't do one much benefit to be an ardent Bush supporter.

There are certainly policy reasons to support him. Among them are social security private accounts, school choice, nomination of conservative judges, strong national defense, lower taxes, drilling for oil in the USA etc. It is unfortunate that Bush and the republican controlled congress were unable to pass more conservative legislation as it would have been good for all americans, particularly lower income ones.

His supporters are the have mores. Bush is willing to break laws suppend civil liberties for any that may challenge willingness to bankrupt the nation for defence contractors and war profiteers (Bush family business) drug smugglers(another Bush Family lucrative business. G.H.Bush made alot of drug connections as head of C.I.A.) As America plunges toward a depression that will make the thirties seem like a day at Disney land the demonizing of the poor is always trotted out for blame. It is always that two hundred a month a mother of three has to live on that is such a burden not the billions to Lockheed Martin, Halibuton, Kellogg Brown and Root, Caterpillar, Chevron, Intell, and on and on it goes.

Fox News.
Obviously, because the right wingers are always watching that, it's simply a biased opinion based off of the overly-modified information presented by the network.
Or, religion. One can work wonders in destroying the ecosystem and all of earth with something as simple and mundane as a religious system.
Otherwise, they don't really have a reason. To reason, you have to think and view all sources. If you support Bush, you obviously are only using one or two news source, you don't think your opinions, and you don't ever listen to other people's sides.
Well, Bush has made a very, incredibly small list of decisions that were reasonable. I personally doubted airport security was tight enough, but he tightened it far too much by scaring us. He also supported the no-call list.
And thats all.

That's a good question. What DO they see in him? People liked him more before 911 and he invaded Iraq. He seemed like a harmless, nice guy. But after 911, all hell broke loose with him and his administration with his so-called war on terror. Fundamentalist Christians and evangelicals seem to be his main base. They think he is a "righteous" leader and will support their agenda on abortion, stem cell research, etc. They may even support his war on Iraq as a prelude to Armageddon. Then there are those who have been fooled by his lies about why we're in Iraq - they still like him, though their ranks are dwindling. Even major Republicans like George Will and William F. Buckley don't like his policies in Iraq and many other of his policies. I think he is probably the worst president this country has ever had, bar none. But you know, you can still fool some of the people some of the time.

The reason you are only receiving comments about his personality and character is that he has no accomplishments worth bragging about.

And what reason would there be to support Kerry? Remember, he voted to go to Iraq along with all the other Democrats.
