Well all of a sudden there is like this humongus colony of crows, and birds in the neighborhood. They are pooing bird doo over everything. I swear i washed my (new) car on Sunday, and had to take it back today to run it through the car wash. I bought a car cover to put over the car but I was just curious. What made these durn blasted birds settle in my neighborhood? Are they gonna fly away when it snows? Why must they make such a mess over everything, house windows, steps, cars, driveways, etc. Thanks!

Crows tend to group together (known as "a murder of crows") during the winter months. Your neighborhood must have a good source of food, water, and shelter. As long as this supply holds out they may not leave all winter. Crows rarely migrate south for the winter, unless they are summering in extremely northern areas. They don't maliciously crap on your stuff, they just don't care what they do it on.

Hey Onebrya, The Birds (1963) was directed by Alfred Hitchcock and loosely based on the short story of the same name by Daphne du Maurier.

It's Migration time and Yes I saw the movie! That movie was hilarious to me. I think bird attacks are hilarious. The interesting thing about the movie though s that it got scary at the end when the birds actually started killing people.

The Birds was directed by Alfred Hitchcock. Don't know who wrote it. Sounds like you live in a sh*#*y neighborhood. Pun intended.

"THE BIRDS" written and directed by stephen king, was nominated for best picture upon it's release, but did not win. Very creepy movie, but when watched today, seems very tacky!
If these birds in your' neighborhood are cawking alot, then that would most likely indicate that another bird from their flock has been "taken in" by a neighbor or kid, and they're trying to get it back. This same situation happened to me about a year ago, when come to find out, my neighbor had one of their offspring, trying to nurse it back to health. If they're just hangin out without much noise but alot of mess, that could indicate that they've chosen their new nest for the season, and could mean alot of frusteration for you! -Good luck
