I don't think that's happened to me...at least not in recent memory.
I hate it when I'm behind someone who us using (i don't know the correct terms for this) WIC credits or foodstamps. The ones that are specific. Like you can get milk for free, etc.
BUTTTT They don't understand what they can or can't get for free and the cashier has to go through all of the items and point them out on the sheets to the customer. They put pictures in the packet, how hard can it be to understand what you can get???

Don't you just hate it when you're in a hurry and you catch EVERY red light possible, plus they seem to last 4 minutes extra!

If I am in a hurry then I usually give them what ever amount of money they are short. It helps them and myself.I am sure they are embarrassed by it.

YES, especially really old ladies. It's like a full aerobic exercise for them to lift their wrist from their pocketbook to the counter, so it takes them even longer....

Yes and they pull out about 10 credit cards and they are all maxed out. Been there.
