You also get one month free.
If I were you (which I'm not), I would just go for the six-month plan for $12.99 per month. Trust me, you will be addicted.
Me? I've avoided WoW altogether, but it's tempting...

Warcraft and Starcraft are different from World of Warcraft. World of Warfcraft costs a fee monthly while Warcraft I-III and starcraft are free.

First month comes free I think, then after that, it's a $15/month charge. Even though it's quite a bit of money(to me), it's definitely worth it.
Guild Wars is an OK substitute, I guess. You just pay $49.99 for the game and it's free online play, but the gameplay is nothing too great when you compare it to WoW.
And you, sir, who says that people who play WoW have no life, I beg to differ. You probably have no life for ranting about how people who play a video game have no lives.

yeah it is true but they give u like a 1 month free trial. Also if you really do want to pay for the game and you don't have a credit card to pay online you can buy Prepaid Cards at Walmart or places like that to use. Its like around 10-30$ for a card.

it's very true. you have to either subscribe online or buy the time card. which is like 29.99 (unless they recently changed the price)for three months at a game store. but hte game guild wars is an awesome game that is free online play!!! seriously...it rox!!

It is around 10- 13 dollars per month, depending on what plan you get
If you pay for, lets say 6 months in a row, the cost per month will be cheaper.
Trust me, It's worth it.
