It might be hard, but I think you need to start moving on. Friends like her are toxic.

When I was that age (about 20 years ago) my best friend Dianna and I had a sleep over at her house, so we could practice the night before a drill team routine, well, in the morning I turned off the alarm clock and fell back asleep. When we woke up, we were both late for school. We rushed around and got ready quickly. Well, she did not speak to me for a long time after that, (maybe 2 weeks) she made fun of me at school and gave me dirty looks, she was mad at me for something so small. I could not believe this was supposed to be my best friend. Needless to say we drifted apart. I found other girls my age to hang out with, and I wish I would have cut her off as my best friend sooner than I did.
The point is, why waste your precious time on someone you cannot get along with and who won't admit it when she is wrong? Friends do drift apart, it's a part of life. You cannot make anyone care for you anymore. A friend is someone who you can be yourself around and they still love you, no matter how goofy you act or how much you screw up, they will be there for you. I think you should find a new best friend....I wish you the best of luck girl.

If she's not caring about your feelings, then she's not a very good friend, much less your best friend. I'm sure you have other friends that are way better than her and that will listen to you when you're having a bad day and care about your feelings. Those are your true friends.

it type of sounds like your associates arent genuine associates. reality is harsh. yet issues replace and persons bypass on. So i'd advise you to make some new associates. associates who look after you and absolutely have a heart. also i understand how puzzling that is to face the reality and to allow bypass of your associates. yet in case you opt for to be at liberty in school then you definately might want to make some new associates. And who's time-honored with perhaps you will get a real boyfriend as well.

Try talking to your friend when she isn't on her period. Her emotions will be more stable then. And talk to her about how different things are now. If she still doesn't understand, realize that friends come and go, and you may need new ones.

i had a friend like that, everything always had to be about her no matter what. nothing i ever had going on was important enough for her to deal with. i finally slowly started cutting ties with her and she got the point.. you should tell her how you feel.
