So far I've only heard of 13 episodes (only 2 more for new year I've heard of so far!), please tell me they just release an announcement for a couple episodes at a time, because this show is awesome! I hope it has a 24 episode run, but I have heard of 13 episode seasons...
Anybody know how many episodes we have to look forward to for this great show?

They will have 22 episodes in Season 1, which is usual for a full season of a network show. The original order was for 13 episodes, and on October 5, NBC ordered the "back 9" episodes, for a total of 22. Heroes was the first fall show to be given a full season order.

I heard the creator Tim Kring has the series set up for FIVE seasons so more heroes will join the show and some will die like Eden.

I would assume it's going to be around 24 episodes, hopefully that many because that last episode was awesome.
