Well, I met him in 2003 and we dated and had sooo much fun together. We went to Nicaragua and Costa Rica together and that's when I knew he was the one for me. Well, he never let on how much he liked me, never said he loved me and I was ok with that because I knew what he was doing. He is 9 years older than me so he wanted to make extra sure I was the one. So we went to New Orleans together in December of 2005 and had the best trip we had ever had. He said some very romantic and special things to me and I had a feeling he was really in love with me. Well, on Christmas ever we went to my grandma's house and my dad and his family were there and we had a great time. I had no idea, but right before my dad was leaving, my husband pulled him in the other room and said"well, I think you know what I am going to ask you" and my dad said what? then he asked for his blessing for my hand and my dad just grabbed him and hugged him. I guess it was really touching for both of them. Then the next day on Christmas day, we went to his parents house and his entire family was there. So for one gift I get an empty box saying go here, and there, and basically it was a goose chase all over the house and then I finally find this little box. I turned white as a ghost everyone said. Well, it turned out to be a showercap and another note inside saying go outside and see what your present is. (Color came flushing back to me by now). It was my first bike. I've never had one so he got me one. Sweet, huh? Well, after that drama was over I got the very last gift that was unmarked and I wasnt even sure if it was mine but everyone said it was. It was the prettiest box I have ever seen. It was shaped like candlestix should be inside. So I opened it and he was already down on one knee as I opened the box and this gorgeous ring was staring me in the face. Now, this was in front of his whole family. Everyone was waiting for us to get married but my husband never told a soul he was even thinking about it so everyone was shocked (including me) and his mom was crying and it was such an awesome day. Of course I said yes and now we live happily ever after. (and we have been to 9 different countrys since we've been married too). Best friends forever......

My husband and I had both been married before. We were tired of the dating game. We have so much in common and we laugh and joke all the time. So one night we were kidding around and laughing and he said "Would you marry me?" I laughed and said "Oh, I think I could!" Then he took a ring out and said seriously "WILL you marry me?" I started crying and said "Of course!"
We were married a few weeks later, and been totally happy the last 2 years!

well I work at a salon..I do makeup..
theres this lady who liked me soo much she wanted me 2 get 2 know her son..I told her NO!
after a week I find a guy across my salon staring at me..then he came and talked 2 me that he likes me ....and wants 2 get 2 know me...I said not interested..(bc I know he wanted me for reasons..where I live ppl love aussies girls)
so he proposed 2 me....refused him...
after 2 years he got engaged 2 my 14 year old cousin..his 24 shes 14!

Well, My husband asked me more than once, around 5 times actually, so .. lol, i can't remember which one he meant to be romantic..
