60s pop. They were never really "rock" - too light weight musically (this is not a critisism - I enjoy their music, they just never had the heavy guitar riffs that identify true rock bands like the Stones etc).

Classic Rock, Pop, or simply the Beatles. In my opinion, they deserve their own genre.
