Do i need to upgrade my video-card, can i do this on a laptop? is this as simple as upgrading memory or do i need someone else more experienced to do this? how much does a decent video card cost?

I just got up to level 2 on answers today. Nothing to do with the question just well proud of myself.

Hi,

Replacing the video card on a laptop will be as expensive as trading this one for a new laptop with the display card as per your requirement.

Video cards on notebooks can be intergrated into the motherboard. Card replacement if it is removable is proprietary. you'd have to contact IBM for more info regarding this. You'd hae to get a certified technician to install it for you. There is no easy out of this. It won't be cheap.
