Here is a concept for you- I am pro-choice, but I am also pro-life. Let me explain. I believe that a woman does indeed have the right to choose what happens with her body. I am very grateful for all the choices that we do have. Those choices include norplant, depo shot, Nuva Ring, the patch and multiple other types of birth control. Oh and then there is the old stand by- Abstinence. Nobody is forcing women to whore themselves out and have sex with anybody. Nobody is forcing women to have sex at all. We can choose not to have sex if we don't want kids. Infact if we never want to have kids, but still be irresponsible and have sex, then there is alway a tublagation. YES we do have choices. Sometimes prgnancy is the consequence of our choices- Did you get that? the consequence. The choice was already made when the woman who is knocked up chose to have sex. Now you are pregnant, the good news is that it does not have to end your world. You don't have to be a single mother. You can adopt out the baby to someone who wants it.

Why is it that people cry about choices, but don't think about the choices that have already been made. When did this attitude that a single woman who gets pregnant and has the baby has to keep it? Why can't we just make something good come from our bad choices? Don't murder and innocent baby, give it to someone who will love and care for it.

I am a pro-choice advocate myself. I believe women should have the right to choose what type of contraceptive they use in order to avoid taking the life of one who has No choice. Abortion should not be used as a form of birth control. How can anyone support a person that is too lazy and irresponsible to take advantage of the MANY, MANY, contraceptives available today? If it takes two people to create a child, presumably, man/women. Should the man not also have a choice in this matter? Oh, I forgot, it's your body, your choice.... If you were to harm a pregnant animal, you would face criminal charges. I guess human life is worth less then the life of an animal. Change comes from the heart. It's not something that can be legislated.

In my youth, I paid for my indiscretion by suggesting that my sex-partners have abortions. We were, "caught up in the moment", therefore we felt it was no big deal to take the life of two unborn children. Years have passed and I still wonder what my children would be like today. Unfortunately, I can't undo my mistakes. That's something that I'll have to live with for the rest of my life. No, I'm not perfect, nor am I a hypocrite. I'm just one person who learned from his mistakes.

Because, no matter what the spin is, abortions are a necessary evil. There continues to be a need for abortions - whether it be because there are too many kids already and not enough money, or because they're both fifteen, or because amniocenteses showed the fetus has some terrible disease and won't live past the age of 3, or it's daddy's baby, or whatever. Those reasons haven't gone away. Until we as a society address those causes, abortion will never go away.

Wow, you sure sound proud of that 3500 a day, sort of like your baby.....hah..
Yeah, leave it up to the woman, keep it completely lawless, no ethical debate, no philosophical questions, no science and reason giving any credit to the human "fetus" aka unborn baby as a living entity.

Just kill kill kill. Do what ever you want, everything should be your choice. As a matter of fact, why does anyone even make a big deal at all about babies being left in dumpsters? Abortionists do that all the time...
Funny how the abandoned in a dumpster phenomenon rose significantly as more women got their little problem "children" forcefully evacuated from their bodies.........

The same reason, I cannot, as a criminal defense attorney, convince someone to stay out of trouble while they are on probation.

Human nature sucks.

Sorry but that is not even their job. They should just run the government and stay out of touchy social issues. For one thing whenever the government tackles these things they polities it to whom ever they at that point. Politicians by the very nature of their job most be all things to all people, which is impossible so they lie, break promises, spin, whatever.

Because politics and morality don't have anything to do with each other. As can be proven by our immoral politicians.

3500 per day? That's a lot of stem cells.

The argument is that it is killing a baby.

And they all have free will.
If that is what they choose to do, then all the talk in the world isn't going to convince them.
