I assume you mean the blades and not the arms. Go buy the replacments. There will be instructions on the package. Some places will do the change (about 30 seconds) for you.
Removing the Arms and the mechanism is prob. not something you should be doing if you have to ask how.

go to auto zone they will change them for free

snap them off! they wont work though, or is that what your looking for
