"The Prince of Egypt" is actually a Dreamworks production...and Hans Zimmer wrote most of the musical score. He was born in Germany and is one of the current top film composers (in terms of success, and my personal opinion too)- he's also written music for these movies:
Twister, Driving Miss Daisy, Cool Runnings, The Lion King, The Rock, As Good as It Gets, Hannibal, Pearl Harbor, Blackhawk Down, Batman Begins, Davinci Code, Pirates 2, and many many other amazing films...
...and most importantly, he wrote music for the movie "Radio Flyer"! (seriously)

Mmm... yea more or less... but its Disney so its not exactly as violent as the Biblical version. IT's like the PG13 Biblical version. AND some would argue the "presence" of God or notion of God is completely devoid. The movie shows some of the suffering of man and the miracles of God. But it does not compare to the real life story found in the Bible.
