I got this ugly green coat a few years ago and now i'm embaressed by it! my mom says it still fits (which it does) but it is sooo ugly! i mean like lime green but it's faded into a gross throw up color! what do i tell my mom to get her to get me a new one?!!

Be honest with your mother, and tell her what you think about the green color. Im sure if she knows how you feel, she will consider getting you a new one.
Green coats really arent for me either. I had a green coat at age 15 that I couldnt stand. But my mom made me wear it, saying we couldnt afford another one. I had to bite my lip, and wear the green thing. But got through the winter warm, and unharmed by sickness. Thankfully the next year I got another one for christmas, this time, a pretty black one.
Ask your mom for another coat for christmas, its right around the corner. If the Green coat bothers you that bad, then now is the time to bring it up. :-)

I would get something really nasty on that won't come off...I mean something really bad. You gotta make sure that even the best of those name brand stain removers can't get the stains out. You could vomit on it....but you'd have to make yourself sick first...
I think tearing it would look a little too obvious. Losing it would work! If you just happened to lose it somewhere like a shopping mall you went to with friends and it never turns up of course because you throw it away somewhere else then you are all set. If you don't want to "lose it" you could also break the zipper by jamming it a few times assuming it closes by a zipper...
I hope I never have bad enough fashion sense that my kids ever do that to me though!!!

Is it possible for you to dye the green coat a different color?

Do you have someone you can give it to? As long as it's being used, I'm sure you mom will be okay with you getting a new one. Maybe you can sell it on ebay.

If she can afford it she could get you one for Christmas, if she does not have the money you should be less self concious.

try to damage it and then show it to your mom and she buy you a new one.
