I'm assuming you mean that you're leaking urine? This is called stress incontinence, and is more common after having a baby as all the muscles have to support a lot of weight during pregnancy and get stretched (and can get worse the more babies you have!). Risky times are sneezing, coughing, laughing, etc.

The answer is pelvic floor exercises (the Americans call these Kegels). The best time to start is when you're pregnant, but it's never too late. First you need to find your pelvic floor muscles. They form loops around your vagina, urethra (opening where urine comes out) and anus. Try imagining you're squeezing to hold in a tampon which is slipping out - those are the muscles you're after. If you still can't feel them, try squeezing down on your partner's penis when you're having sex, he should be able to feel if you've found your muscles.

To strengthen them, you need to do two different sorts of exercises - quick twitches (for example, 10 quick tense/releases) and longer holds (pull everything in, and hold it for a count of ten). Pulling up and then letting down again in stages can be good too.

If doing these a few times a day for a few weeks doesn't lead to any improvement, there are pelvic floor toners that you can buy which take the form of little weights you insert into the vagina to improve muscle tone: http://www.blushingbuyerx.co.uk/acatalog/Pelvic_Floor_Trainers.html

You need to start doing kegel exercises. That is where you start to urinate then make yourself stop then start again. Once you know the feeling you can do those exercises sitting at your desk or while you are walking or driving or anywhere. If that doesn't help then you need to see the doc about getting a pessary or having a bladder tack up. Also I am assuming you mean a leaky bladder and not something leaking from your vagina. It helps to use proper medical terminology when asking questions here so people know exactly what it is you are referring to.

First, go see your doctor to make sure you don't have a urine infection. Then start to really do those pelvic floor excersises that you were given when your baby was born - those where you have to pretend that you are trying not to pee and tighten all those muscles then relax them then tighten them etc. Do these 10 times about 6 times a day. It will take time but it should eventually help. If not, go back to your doctor and tell him your problem.

keep doing those pelvic floor exercises gal it'll be back to normal the more you practice this, sounds boring but make it a daily routine and you will not regret it. i have had 2 children and several miscarriages and it has served me well, also the bum crunches work well, hold in stomache and tense buttocks to the count of 50 keeps you trim in all sorts of ways. lol

Kegel exercises can help. Also, when you have to 'go', try waiting a teeny bit longer intead of dashing off. This also helps strengthen muscles.
