I'm not talking about a car adaptor or anything like that. Someone at my office wants to know if you can upload music froma cassette tape to iTunes for example in order to get onto the iPod.

This is nto necessarily a "song" I am trying to upload - it is a recording ona cassette.

Yes, there are numerous devices out there that a computer can recieve composite audio. If the computer comes with composite audio input ports, then u can get a cassette player with audio-out ports and connect the cassette player to your computer directly. If ur computer doesn't have these audio inputs, then u can buy a USB adapter. You'll also need software to enable this hardware to capture the audio.

You should definately go to radioshack and they can tell you what to do. I wouldn't go to best buy or circuit city. Radioshack will have adapters, cords, and other stuff you'll need.

OMG i'm so excited to point an ipod to you!!! The ipod contact is excellent! i imagine any apple product is excellent! There is special software and hardware for that kind of job. I saw it on a catalog.


However, if you are looking for quick, easy, cheap way, I suggest you get one of those little poser MP3 players that have the recorder function, which you can record the tape and upload onto the computer, and thus iTunes and iPod.

Im not sure about that, but have you ever thought about just downloading the song? Its probably a lot cheaper than getting software......
