If it's all one trade, it might look pretty good for you. Let's rearrange this so it's Jagr for Ovechkin, Phaneuf/Rafalski for Pronger and Roy for St. Louis. Jagr is certainly going to finish top three in scoring. Ovechkin doesn't seem as good as last year, but he does have 28 points in 26 games. If he picks up his pace a bit, he can beat last year's total. No matter which D-man you trade to get Pronger, it'll be a good deal. Pronger is currently the best defenseman in the entire league. Roy only has 15 points to St. Louis' 32. You'll be getting a good deal as long as Ovechkin repeats his last season. If he doesn't, you just gave up the potential Art Ross Trophy winner.

This is a great trade....for whoever is getting your players. Jagr is the MVP of the league right now, and St. Louis, while productive, is nowhere near the level he was at before the lockout. The gap between those two just won't be made up by getting Pronger and Ovechkin....especially if you're giving up two defensemen for Pronger...who is on the best pairing in the league right now, but I wouldn't give up the best young D-man in the league (Phaneuf), and ANY other defenseman to get him.

If you could swing Derek Roy for Ovechkin, that'd be a steal on its own, but on a whole, this is just a bad trade to make.

I may do it just on the fact that Jagr may go down with an injury easier then Ovechekin. Pronger is better then Phaneuf and St. Louis is servicable. If you are looking foe a big shake up it is a good trade.

so you want to trade jagr, phaneuf and roy for ovechkin, st. louis and Pronger??

if that was offered...than YEAH...take it. The three players you're getting will put up more points by years end than what your giving up. Its never a good idea to trade jagr, but the way i see it is you are getting both ovechkin and st. louis for him...roy is just a toss in. pronger for phaneuf is more than fair.

If it's you making the offer...only i dumb *** would accept it!...

I think that you should do no. 2. I think this because Pronger is
going to get some major points this season. Not Jagr because
he wil put up huge points. No 3 no one will do that trade

Nobody will accept that trade.
Derek Roy is crap....as is Rafalski.
