I'm looking for a website that would give access to historical stats like TEAM ERA both at home and on the road for the past 20 to 30 years. Is there a site that has stats like this recorded???

Yes. www.mlb.com has historical stats for all players ever and all teams, year by year covering just about any stat you imagine. Well, not a player's batting average when 2 and 1 against a left-handed reliever after the 7th inning in a day game following a doubleheader, but almost any normal stat you might want.
