9 karat gold is 37.5% gold, 63.5% other metals.
Two troy ounces of pure (24 karat) gold would be $1274.80. Two troy ounces of 9 karat gold would be 37.5% of that number, or $478.05.
Of course, what you would receive would probably be less than that. If your gold is in bars, grain, etc., it would have to be assayed properly to determine its value prior to purchase. There are refining fees, etc. If your gold is in jewelry form, remember that nothing less than 10 karats can legally be marked or sold as gold jewelry in the U.S.
