Could someone explain the differences to me? Are either one suffiencent for a non-gamer? All I know is that the intel duo is more expensive, but not by that much. Thanks!

both have 2 processors......

core duo is more new, requires less power, runs cooler.... and performs slightly better, but costs more

hope that helps...

oh btw, both should work w/ Windows Vista

ok, i actually didnt answer your real question, both will be more than enough computing power for non-gamers, or gamers.

good luck

With dual core, a computer has two processors and thus will run faster and more efficient.
