the world cup isnt a pitty-fest. if they are good enough then they will win, many countries have come close but nothing.. thats what makes the world cup so great, few countries can win it and that proves how great of a team you are.

Twice in a row(74 and 78) they went up against and lost to the fired up host nation. That is a bit of tough luck.

They have free health care, legalized soft drugs, and haven't really pissed anyone off in the world community.
Not too much sympathy for a lost soccer game.

Sometimes I am. But then I think about it, practically every team has a dutch coach now and they have a tendency to underperform. So nope, not sorry at all.
