Well, there are usually ten soiled diapers a day, and it is usually poo, but having 3-5 movements a day is within the norm. Having less than 2 a day would mean that the formula is too harsh on the belly and is causing constipation, one would have to speak to a pediatrician to find the best formula for the child. One of my daughters had to be on Nutramigin.

Some babies poop with every diaper change. It depends on how much your baby has fed. My 1 month old poops 2 to 5 big ones and a few small ones through out the day.

Babies go from pooping every time they eat to once a day.
But at age 4 weeks baby should be pooping very often. More then 1 time a day 3-4 poops minimum at that age. along with 8-12 wet diapers.
My 5 month old poops only once a day now.

It varies. It can be only one time a day up to 10 times a day or after every feed. My baby is 3 months old and up until 2 weeks ago he would have a BM after every feed. It also varies with breastmilk vs. formula.

it depends on how much he is eating and what he is eating at 1 month old if breastfed, could move its bowels at every feeding, formula fed usually isn't that much but possible, but if you are concerned call the pediatrician, there is no harm in checking w/ a doctor. better to be safe than sorry

I have a month old myself, so from experience i would say at least 5-6 poppie diapers a day. they poop when they want to it dont have to be directly after the eat.

breastfed babies will have one with every feeding, so if they eat every 3 hours around the clock then that's a whole lot of dung... bottlefed babies not so much, but still a few times a day. watch for signs of dehydration if you are still concerned
