Yes Spells from the Internet, can work, if you understand the dynamics of spell casting.

I do spells all the time, and I don't believe in the Devil.

No doing spells isn't a sin, if you're working for the good of mankind.

Yes, they can and do work, no matter which faith you fall under.

I wouldn't rely on either to be honest, the most powerful spell is one you make up yourself. I'm going to assume here that you have read at least one book on Wicca and that it's not Silver Ravenwolf writing it..... :) Within Wicca spellwork is only one tiny part of it, Wicca concentrates on the relationship with Diety and with the natural world around you, both seen and unseen if you are sensitive to the latter. It focuses on your own progress within your chosen path, that's connecting you to the land around you and the elements, the wildlife and plant life that surround you every day of your life. The importance of this is to bring balance into your life, to make you more sensitive to energy, to make you appraciate this world in all it's beauty and splendour. To live in harmony with it and to tread lightly. Within that framework what basis do you think there is for a spell? Spells are the manipulation of natural energies and influences - never supernatural - they are a way of tweaking those energies to produce results according to our will. However they are not and never should be used as a 'quick fix' or without a lot - and I mean a LOT of deep thought and planning. The websites you mention tap in to the fascination - usually amongst youngsters - with spells and magic, they play on the part of the mind that loves mystery and looks for common links. And that's exactly why they should be avoided. A spell is something created by the practitioner for a specific reason. Numerous influences are usually taken into account - I'm sure you will say immediately that the book or website says 'moon phase and daily influence' right? Welll that kiddo goes way further than those two influences. Every hour has an associated influence from the stars - do you know them? Would you know where to find them? What term to use? Every place on earth has influcences from the local area - been working with the West as water because you are told it by a book? Go outside and check where the nearest large body of water is? It may not be in the west. Book says to use certain herbs in your spell pouch or incense - does it also tell you what to avoid if you have asthma? what can be absorbed into your skin and stay in your body to accumalate? Does it tell you that if you breathe in too much of this herb you are risking your health? I doubt it. Does it tell you what to do with burnt candle stubs and the ramains of the incense? Generally not or if it does 'throw them away ' is usually in there somewhere. Are you getting the gist of why online spells don't work? THAT is why you need way more study before you tackle spells. It's not just 'recite the spell and hope' if it was that easy everyone would be doing it. You also mention that 'wiccan spells are rituals' er nope they're not - spells (and btw spells are spells they aren't labelled wiccan) are as described by the above definition. Rituals are things you do repeatedly in the same order. There are daily rituals individual to you for getting up, going out of the door, coming indoors at the end of the day (keys go here, coat goes there etc) they are the actions you do in the same order each time. A ritual within a wiccan context is the way in which you lay out your altar. the technique you use to cast, the way of adressing diety, the quarter calls and what you visualise each time, the way in which you open the circle if you cast one they are not the spell. The spell is the Work not the definition of the circle. :) hope helps :)

1) Yes, spells off the Internet do work. But then again, so do spells that you read out of books, see on TV, watch in movies, get from friends, dream up on your own, you create with a guide . . . the list goes on. It's not the source- there's a lot of bunk and junk on the Web, and good stuff. What makes a spell work is YOU.

2) No, spellcraft and magic has nothing to do with the Devil. There are actually many forms of Christian magic (although they are rarely called 'magic').

Hope that helps. If you believe magic is a sin, don't do it. They will work if you believe in them and that it is good and right to do them.

Yes and no. Of course, it all depends on the user rather than the tool. Some people claim great success with Ouija boards - I've never had any but candle magic seems to work really well for me. So, if you're serious about this, do your research and follow your instincts - they're usually the best 'radar' for what is right or wrong. If it feels wrong to you, then don't do it. BTW - what do you think candlelight vigils or prayers are?

As far as I have been able to tell, the Christian concepts of God and Devil have no bearing on real magic. Most folk that I have seen that believe in magic, not parlor tricks mind you but real magic, don't tend to fit the classic Christian profile in any way shape or form.

In fact, those for whom magic actually works don't tend to believe in only one god, so they don't tend to be acceptible to Christians or any of the other monotheist religions. In order for magic and spells to work, the person casting the spell MUST believe in what they are doing, not some other biased religon. It distracts from the concentration of the person casting the spell.

As to whether or not a spell you found in cyberspace will actually work there are many things to consider. Is it a real spell? That's a tough one since there are so many. More exposure to the magical arts will guide you here. Do you believe? That is paramount to the success of your charm or spell. Did you speak it correctly? It is very, very important that you speak the spell correctly. Do you have all that is required? Some love charms for instance require a lock of the target's hair in order to work properly.

Good luck, I hope you find your way.

B.T.W. Don't listen to Kilroymaster, he has his head wedged. Magic DOES NOT serve Satan. Some people's children...

I would advise that you don't act so quickly to try spells. Love if it's a manipulative spell can turn around on you and hurt you somehow and defenatly not revenge!
I suggest if you are interested in witchcraft/spells/tarot card or anything like it go to your nearest bookstore and read up on it. Or if there is an occult shop near you go talk to someone there and they will advise you as well to read up on it.
If used wrong it can do some pretty screwed up things in your own life I believe. I've seen it happen to a couple people at school when I was in high school....it was strange.
PLEASE READ UP ON IT FIRST BEFORE YOU TRY ANY MAGIC!

I once saw televangelist Pat Robertson gather his air wave minions in a mass prayer session to turn back the winds and tides of a hurricane that was threatening the most holy site of his TV broadcast terminal, and glory be praise magical Jesus, it worked! Wasn't that the same thing as casting a spell, then does that mean he and his broadcast minions actually worship, the Devil? Well all I can tell you is figuring it all up and calculating in the law of averages, in the get go, sometimes the Internet bag of hocus pocus works, and sometimes it doesn't.

Do your prayers work? That's all a spell really is.

Some spells work, like I know of a couple of sites where its just a bunch of hocus pocus, lol. But seriously if you really want to find good spells that really work your most likely going to need to find a site where you have to pay... I know its craziness....

It is a sin to do satanic spells because you are trusting in the devil to give you "love luck" as you call it. The devil has power to make spells work, but not as much as God has to answer prayers.
Why don't you try to pray for what you want...and don't forget to thank God too!
