I can't tell you enough times how much I LOVE self-tanner...my personal favorite and the best I have tried: L'Oreal Sublime Bronze in Light/Medium at drugstores about $8. You can apply it to your whole body, just make sure to do it very well and follow these steps:
1. Exfoliate your skin (St. Ive's Apricot Scrub about $4) very well
2. Apply self tanner begining from your legs up, and do your face last
3. Walk around your house naked for about 15 minutes until it fully dries (this self-tanner is great and natural color but it tends to dry really slowly if you apply too much so do it everyday gradually...the best way to make it look more natural)
4. Do this everyday for about 4 days
5. If you want to look tanner on your face and neck, a great bronzer is Hoola by Benefit and finish off with some red blush for a "sun-burned" look which looks more natural!
Good luck and let us know your results!!!

If you want to instantly look tan I would recommend a spray tan. I think these actually look better applied on pale skin because your skin texture from not being in the sun is going to be better then someone who tans all the time.
Otherwise you can use at home spray tans. Lancome and Neutrogena make great ones.

Try one of those body lotions, like the one by Jergens, which makes you tan gradually, without any sun or lamp exposure.

On women, pale skin is nice for applying make-up to.
On men, I suggest Skintelligence SuperTan: http://www.hwcnewyork.unfranchise.com/index.cfm?action=shopping.wpProductNoShop&prodID=1206

nicely, you may want to get a sprig tan. they dont peel, as somebody else stated, and they dont scent like pee, like each body else says. i have been given one and it didnt turn me orange. or, you may want to purchase some self-tanning lotion. dove has some self-tanning body wash that is new, you may want to attempt that too. plus ive heard eating alot of carrots makes your dermis have extra colour [[= reliable luck

Some people spend tons of money on make-up. But what shades should you buy? Here are some tips to casual makeup, types of makeup, makeup tips, and the makeup of the week voted by you! to vote go down to the mini quiz when you vote consider price, what it does and how much they give you in each tube of makeup.
For a casual look you should stay withen 3-4 shades of your natural color. Check out the skin chart for good makeup for you:
Dark skin- http://www.expage.com/darkmakeup
Tan skin/brown skin-http://www.expage.com/tanmakeup

**SORRY MOST OF THESE LINKS ARE NOT DONE YET!**
**TYPES OF MAKEUP**
Eyeshadow- You can buy eyeshadow in form of cream or powder. Cream gives a shinier look, where powder gives a more natural look. You usually buy eye shadow powder in sets of three a light color, a dark color , and another light color. To apply choose a light color for the first layer, then a darker color for the second layer, and top of with a lighter eyeshadow.
Eye liner- It is a good idea to choose a color that matches your skin however if you are wearing an unnatural color you may want to match it with the eyeshadaow. Eye liner defines your eyes. It is a good idea to go easy on the under eye liner because it creates a unatural and heavy look.
lip stick- If you want to create a natural look you may want to mix your lipsticks. For example if you have medium skin you may want to use 2-3 different shades of brown.
Lip liner- Lip liner is there to define your lips but always match your lipliner to your lips not your lipstick this way your lips dont look fake. try not to draw a harsh line, instead draw around your lips in feathery strokes and then blend in.
Blush- You can buy blush in forms of gel, cream, or powder. A good way to brighten your face is to take a white make up stick and draw a line down your cheekbone then take your blush and blend. Blush looks most natural if you only apply it at the balls of your cheeks.
Cover up- To find the color that is best for you it is a good idea to take samples at a store a put 3-4 shades in a line on your cheek then find the one that blends in the most. I think that the easiest and most effective cover up is the express stick.
Mascara- If you want to curl your lashes then find mascara with a bendable tip. To spice up your lashes put on your regular mascara and then tip your lashes with a colored mascara such as blue or orange.
Its almost summer temperatures are rising the days are longer, the sun is invitind you to come play! Here are some FAB skin tips for when you hit the sand and sun-

FOR SENSATIONAL SKIN
CLEAN- clean you r skin twice a day to remove oil and bacteria. Use a clay mask once a week to deep clean and smallen pores.
EXFOLIATE- Heat, sun and sweat all make skin oily and prone to breakouts. Exfoliate 2-3 times per wek to get rid of dead skin cells so yuor skin can breathe.
MOSTURIZE- use a moisturizer daily to keeep your skin healthy and nourished dont use oil free prouduts unless you have very oily skin. oil is good as long as it is natural.
USE SUNSCREEN- Wear sunscreen ALL YEAR LONG even in winter cool weather dosent mean no harmful sun rays that dry and damage skin. It is also good to wear hats
