It's safe. I'm a former paint chemist and the fumes are non-toxic, not even mildly irritating. You may not like the smell but there is no danger to your child. I have two small children myself and have had no reservations about painting with them in the house. Water based latex and enamel house paints are all toxin free and safe.

It all depends on what kind of paint you use! It also depends on how open and how much ventilation you have in the house!
It is best to paint one side of the house first and move to the next side in two days. This way you can be sure none of the fumes are going to bother the kid!

the numerous call paint manufacturers spend a lot funds on promoting and vacationing sales representatives they couldn't positioned high quality contained in the can, even if, businesses spending a lot less on those extravagances can; its economics 100 and one. it truly is an exciting evaluation; Benjamin Moore's Impervo vs proper key's puzzling-Shell Lifetime interior. They did a scrub try adversarial to Impervo and the puzzling-Shell interior scrubbed more desirable than 5 situations longer than Impervo. If it scrubbed two times as long as Impevo you would say "that is superb" yet 5 situations as lengthy? i imagine this quite demonstrates the actual incontrovertible fact that the great paint businesses spending thousands and thousands on advertizing; in fact mind wash you into making a purchase order of an inferior product. they're promoting image, which has no longer something to do with high quality. human beings are not in many situations attentive to this fact; there are 5 diffeent forms of latex resin with acrylic being the suited. the proper secret puzzling-Shell Lifetime interior Paint is one hundred% acrylic that is a reliable as you will get for a waterbased coating. With proper secret the universal is going contained in the can the position it belongs, vs up in light fixtures and on television which contain with Benjamin-Moore and different significant kind call paints. It bonds extra efficient, scrubbs longer, covers extra efficient and expenses below significant, heavily advertized manufacturers. See proper secret Coating on line save for further archives. reliable luck.

i wouldnt advise it. if no one can put you all up for a few days, then i would just do one room, wait a week then start another, and keep the whole house as ventilated as you can. i know it will be hard as its winter, but its not safe for you to do several rooms together.

I think you should definatly wait till warmer weather so you can open windows to vent as painting can give an adult a severe head-ache.
