Some people should never have kids, and the pople who cant should. It depends on the mental as well as the physical state of the person. I think if you are over 16, have school out of the way early, and already have raised iether a sibling or an adopted friend, then go for it. The human body was made for women to bear children while being young, our society hasnt. If you think you can do it finacially, physically, and responsibly, then go ahead. I was 17 when i got prego with my first, but i had a rough life, and learned the hard way how to grow up. I think before any one gets prego underaged they need to starve for a month, live off noodles and pankake batter, only that, and live in a car at the same time. Sucks, but really shocked me to maturity quick. I was naieve before, but i know even now with my life getting going, i am still naieve, and will always bee naieve about some things, no matter my age or expiriance.........

I am constatly asked my age, because I carry myself in a very mature and repectable manor. I just tunred 20 but every one thinks I am much older(like26), sadly I feel the same way.

You should have a child when you feel ready, mentally. Being in a relationship, long term/married is a better time to consider it so you know that you will have financial stability and emotional support. Being financially stable is a big thing as everybody knows that babies are expensive. If you don't have some money saved up you shouldn't consider it yet....

what a strange question,if you really want to get an advice ,you should give more information about yourself, otherwise I may say 30 to a man in fiftees or something unlogical to a woman around the menapose, but the correct answer which will never change according to whatever your position is,don't have a child in this unsafe and dangerous world,

When you and your "significant other" can financially support yourselves and a baby on your own. If you cant do that then don't bother...unless you have GOOD support from family/friends and if your on your way to being able to support a family. If your in high school your too young. After graduating H.S you'll have a lot more opportunities and you'll be a legal adult. I'm 19 and just had my baby, me and my fiance are well off, and we have lots of help from both of our families.

When you're in love and married to the man you'll stay with for life. I think this is everyone's ideal. I didn't meet my husband until I was 29, so I didn't have kids until I was 34. I would have married younger and had kids younger if I had met him sooner. What's right for you depends on when you meet him. Great question!

Age is fairly irrelevant but you should be

*married (not just engaged or dating)
*financially independent from anyone but your spouse
*living independent (not with parents or relatives)
*mature enough to be willing to put aside your needs for your child
*mature enough to control your temper (if you yell at your husband, you're not ready for children)
