it really depends.

ask about the spacing. if it's double spaced, that would help a lot.
to make sure, try to squeeze a little from your topic. extend it. cite examples to make it long.

it should be 6 pages covered.
If your Teacher is understanding it may be enough
re read your essay and think of words you may be able to add
to make the 6th page
Just to be safe . It won't take long to fill the 6th page.
You may not pass on your essay if you don't

Please ask your teacher, trying calling or email. they usually dont mind when you have a question or ask someone in your class. i would not want to tell you something and it is wrong. every teach is different. some teachers say 6 pages not including cover page, citation, etc. some mean including sources. and some teachers do take points off for little things like that.

I can't speak to your specific teacher's policy, but usually when they say it HAS TO BE 6 pages, they will either take points off, or they won't accept it at all.

You will probably get points taken off. Most teachers won't bend an inch for essays usually.

I am an instructor and I take points off if the length is less than what the assignment requires.

Cover page and Bibliography does not count.

in many situations instructors will supply preparation as to what percentage words they anticipate e.g. 1500 words. in the experience that your instructor did not attempt this, then he/she will't quite ***** if what you write is 'too lengthy'. In destiny, ask what their expectancies are, then you definately received't opt to rigidity about the size.
