What's so special about this team is that we do have a terrible quarterback and yet we still find ways to win. Our defense and special teams are so good that Grossman can make multiple mistakes per game and there is still a great chance we will win the game. I'm very excited about what this team has the potential to do this year, and hopefully they can achieve ultimate greatness even while being handicapped by an inexperienced quarterback.
And therein lies the problem with most Bears fans.
A season like this does not come along every year. It is something very special and this is not the time to be developing a player for the future when you have a chance to win in the present. Most fans look down upon this as though we are blowing our opportunity to bring the Super Bowl championship back home to Chicago for the first time in twenty-one years. At the end of the day, nobody wants to be left wondering "what if" with regards to the Griese/Grossman quarterback quandary. Hopefully that will not be the case and we will win it all, regardless of how Grossman plays.
All of us in the Chicagoland area of heard countless times that, "Rex is our quarterback." We're stuck with him for better or worse. Let's just wish for Rex of the first five weeks of the season to return in the very near future.
Go Bears!

Enjoy the good times while they last. Remember, the playoffs are "one and out"! Frankly I don't think Grossman is a quality starting QB and never will be. The Bears defense should get most of the credit for the 10-2 mark they enjoy right now. If they make it to the Super Bowl I'll be surprised. Grossman can't take the pressure and that will spell doom to the Bears. No body remembers division winners. They only remember conference champions and who made it to the Super Bowl. I don't bash any team, I just tell it like I see it.

The Bears may be able to overcome five turnovers to the Vikings and six to the Cardinals, but these are hardly the cream of the crop when it comes to NFL teams. If you give the Cowboys or Saints five turnovers, kiss your season goodbye. The Bears will be defeated in the first round by someone who has been paying attention the last few weeks and saw how defenses are stopping the Chicago offense. Stop the run and pressure Grossman, and that offense is not going anywhere. Trust me, the Saints or Cowboys will capitalize on the extra possessions the Bears will give them and eliminate them from the playoffs.

I think the Bears are a good team and I'm not bashing them, but the educated fan knows that with Rex @ the helm they're not gonna win the Super Bowl. He got 'em to the playoffs and that's great, but the teams they'll be facing there wont let 'em get away with the mistakes Rex makes.

Bears play well, and no doubt they have second good season in a row!! But they are not real class team YET. As you mentioned they have crappy QB. They are so good they can beat colts, but at same time they are as bad as they can be kicked by San Fran.
They have given their fans good time. But bears dont have what takes to win a super bowl. They are just not a team with real punt as you see Colts or Pats......

The defense is incredible, their offense isn't. To win a Superbowl you need to have a Quarterback who can at least manage the game.(i.e. the Ravens with Trent Dilfer) At this point in time Grossman can't. If he gets his head out of the clouds and starts to play like he did at the start of the year, they could be doing the Shuffle once more.

The Patriots showed that the Bears that they were just an overrated team in a weak conference, and that the comparisons to the '85 Bears was REDICULOUS!!!! The Patriots will win the Super Bowl, they are the most complete team out there.

I hope that the Bears will win it all. I have not been at yahoo answers in months so that could be considered a reason.
