Are you influenced when you are directed when to laugh while watching a TV Sit-Com or does this offend you?

They do it because they think a huge majority of their listeners are of borderline intellects..

I do find laugh tracks annoying.

They are annoying to the point that I stopped watching "Sit-Coms" and now only watch sporting events and Fox News including O'Reilly and Hannity & Colmes.

I watch the latter as it is the only unbiased news either on TV or in print.

When they say it is "Fair and Balanced", they are quite correct.

The person who sold "Laugh Tracks" was a genius who must have had a knack for dealing with Idiots.

I suspect that not one major broadcaster has ever run a poll to see how their viewers feel when they are treated as if they are mentally challenged [PC term for "RETARDS"]

I also suspect that they never will run such a poll as it would be incriminating to their long term position.

I find laugh tracks to be very annoying and if they influence me in anyway, it's to turn the channel.

As far as "why" the studios use laugh tracks, I think it is done in order to elicit laughter from the viewing audience.

No -- quite frankly, this is just irritating -- and the laugh tracks are there to cover up the fact that NOTHING is funny in the script! and No, I am NOT influenced at all.

Laugh tracks don't affect me. I usually don't even notice them, they're so common. I laugh when I find something funny, and I don't when I don't.
