usually Christmas morning. however, sometimes we do Christmas eve ifsomeone is working Christmas. ( My dad, and 2 brothers used to be in the army, and my daughter is a nurse, I used to be a health care aide, so usually about one Christmas in 4 is celebrated with at lesat one person working) even when i was a kid, all my uncles on my mom'sside were firemen and often missed Christmas morning

My family has a tradition to open 1 present on Christmas Eve. the rest in the morning.

We usually open presents Christmas morning, or in Christmas Eve is someone's not gonna be there the day after. I'm sometimes allowed to open my presents Christmas Eve if I just can't seem to be able to go to sleep. One time I did stay up until 12:01am, so it was technically Christmas morning, and I got to open my presents. =D

As a child i was allowed to open 2 presents on Christmas eve the 1st being new Pjs and the other was a little toy maybe a doll, barbie something like that nothing big until christmas morning. My mom always made opening presents a big deal one year we had a scavenger hunt with clues to all the presents. It was great looking forword to holidays like that w/my children

When I was a child, my family opened them on Christmas Eve. We hung our stockings on the eve of St. Nicholas Day, Dec. 6.When I married, my (ex)husband preferred Christmas morning and the stockings were hung on Christmas Eve. Now that my husband and I are old farts, we usually wait until afternoon of Christmas Day and we don't do stockings, but it still feels a bit odd not to be opening presents on Christmas Eve.

We always open one present on Christmas Eve and then wait for Christmas morning for the rest.
It's always tough to pick the right present to open the night before.

As a kid, we always opened our Christmas gifts in the morning. Since my brother got married, we open our gifts whenever he gets here on Christmas day, which could be anywhere from early in the morning to late in the afternoon.
