Hi,
I have never used a fake tan that looks bad. Don't be put off and don't go to a sun-bed. Try Fake Bake tanning Mousse if you have got time to spare. You have to sleep 'in' it, the guide does wash off of your sheets though. Because it is a dark colour when it comes out you can see exactly where you are putting it, just wash it off the next morn. It doesn't streak.
£18.00
For a quicker alternative try Ambre Solaire aerosol tan. This doesn't streak either and begins to develope in an hour. It also dries instantly. Smells nice too.
£8.99
These are about the best I've tried, neither went orange or streaky.
Good Luck

OK, if your do is on Friday tonight exfoliate and moisturise your whole body. And then Thursday night apply "fake bake" it is great!! it is sooo easy to apply. Get the lotion. It looks like tar but its lovely colour not to dark or anything. Promise! And the best thing bout it is you can slap it on it can be streaky looking as long as every where is covered in the lotion it will be fine. So in the morning wash it of and it will look great!! Make sure you wear latex gloves. But i use fake bake and i am sooo pale and it is great! promise!! Have a look!!

I use a self tan which costs about £3 a bottle.. Its amazing stuff when applied with a mitt! And it comes out brown so you know exactly where it is going, also used to use amber solair light spray.. recommend that! Both last a good 4 days at least :o)

I've tried them all: Neutrogena, St. Tropez, Fake Bake, Clarins, Estee Lauder, Lancome, Clinique, Sephora, etc... but the one I always keep going back to is...
L'Oreal Sublime Bronze in Light (apply everyday for about 4 days)...it's the best and natural self-tanner I have used if you apply it in a thin layer over a four day period...and just add Hoola bronzer and blush and you are set!

No 7 is good, and it's not expensive either. Once you've showered, wait 15 minutes for your skin to return to its normal pH (this prevents the tan from looking orange). It gives you a bit of colour, without looking obvious and tacky.

I would recommend a tan with a colour guide to ensure you don't have any accidents! The most recent I have used is Caramel Cutie and it was great- quite dark and rich as I often find self tanner's too light and orange toned.

i must have at least 6 different types of fake tan and the best one by far is st tropez, as everyones been saying it is a bit pricey but defo worth it. make sure u exfoliate and moisturise well first, and cream yourself everyday to ensure an even wear off.
