Is there a way to get to be someones friend without doing the friend request thing?

not that i know off sometimes it'll approve a friend w/o trying. it does it automatically. i dont know why it does it. i have friends that i never added. but other than that, you have to get it approved....i think.hope this helps

you can however send them an e-mail without being their friend, but you can't have them on your friends list unless they're has been a request on either party

No, either you request them to you friend or vice versa. Otherwise it would be a total mess--
