There is no gay marriage to support. It simply doesn't exist. Marriage has been defined in all civilizations, pagan and Christian, as a man and a woman. You can call them civil unions and grant the partners legal rights like married couples but that does not make it a marriage.
I would consider myself independent without ties to either major party.

No, I do not support changing the definition of marriage, but I do support a formalization of gay unions.
I'm something of a yellow-dog Democrat with a heavy tinge of libertarianism. Never yet voted for a Democratic presidential nominee.

1) I do not support gay marriage. Not because I feel homosexuals should not bind their love legally or spiritually but because we've failed to redesign the definition of marriage to modern times with immigration and terrorism two of our largest problems it may open pandora's box to government exploitation.

2) I do not belong to a polotical party and I am a resident of New York.

1.No,I dont care what gays do in their private lives..,in reality no one does, but when marriage is supposed to be sacred then I have a problem with it.I believe in God and Jesus but I am not a christian as going to church and involved with any religion. If they want benefits then I suggest they get a job like the rest of us.

2.I am a conservative republican.

1) I live in Mass. where it is legal. Personally, I couldn't care less one way or another, but the law was written so unconstitutionally, I support a referendum on it.

2) I'm neither. I'm a Libertarian.
