intrusive igneous rocks ..

Igneous rocks are formed when (magma) cools and solidifies, with or without crystallization, either below the surface as intrusive (plutonic) rocks or on the surface as extrusive (volcanic) rocks.

It is quite likely that a magma that cools slowly underground will be granitic, but it depends on what minerals are present in the magma. If it has high silica content it will most likely be granitic, if it has lower silica content it will most likely be basaltic. Either way it will be an igneous rock. Both granite and basalt are igneous rocks. All rocks on earth (excluding the organic sedimentary rocks like limestone and chert) started out as igneous rocks.

Geo,Its extrusive igneous rock.Intrusive means its still inside the volcano.Extrusive means its already out the volcano
