I am so sick of ignorant people who won't get off Barry's back. I was All-American in High School and was drafted in the 16th round. I instead went to college did some top of the line steriods and it turn me in to a worse hitter then I had ever been. It took 5 months for it to ware off and then I started hitting again. Barry Bonds is the best player in baseball history. Period. If you took Bonds and moved him back to when Ruth played Bonds would probably of hit 2000 career homers.
I wish my Astros would make a run at him but it's just not gonna happen, so I hope he go's back to the Giants and breaks the record at home so he get's the cheers that he deserves.

From what I have heard in various baseball reports, Bonds will most likely sign with the Giants since it appears they are backing off a deal with the Boston Red Sox to acquire Manny Ramirez, but I don't see it happening this week.
Most teams do not have much interested in Bonds due to his attitude and steroid allegations surrounding him. However, Oakland is another team that has expressed interest in the past. There was a short lived rumor several weeks ago that the Chicago White Sox would be interested as well, but after resigning Scott Podsednik, their interest has most likely diminished.

It takes more than home runs to be called the best of all time. Bonds isn't even close to the Babe or Hammering Hank. The Giants will sign him. Why in hell would any other team want the old fart. He is just a money draw. He is so juiced up he looks like the hulk.

I think that Sosa may end up a Met. They are really banged up and are in need of a RH bat. Bonds is done. I can't see someone signing him with all the distractions he will bring. Not sure who will take Lohse or Garcia. That may not happen until during the season if someone needs a starter.

He will probably end up with the Sacramento Rivercats, That way he can be closer to the GOV. and that way he can get his STEROIDS indirectly from the goverment... But I digress, the SO CALLED man that is Barry will most likley stay with the giants for one reason. the giants will give him the money because he puts butts in the seats!!!!!!

Not necessarily true .... most teams DON'T want him because he is such a headache and distraction with all the steroid issues. There are only two teams that I have heard that have intrest and this is Baltimore because they want him as a DH and the Giants said yesterday that they would take him back. The only hangup will be money because he wants a one-year $14mil deal. We'll see

I'm with you Bonds still has the abilty as a DH to have a 500obp, hit 340., slugging and knock in 40 homers. I'd like to see him with the Angels, A's, or Baltimore. He'll be back with SF

He is going back to the Giants. The juicer has to much baggage for most teams want to deal with. Besides nobody has a hat big enough to fit his enormous steroid head.
