Sandy Springs is a pretty upscale neighborhood. (You should already know that if you're relocating there.) The town actually just officially became a city - it used to be considered part of Atlanta. Hopefully you work fairly close to your home because the traffic is a pure nightmare.

Sandy Springs is generally a nice area of town. There are some very expensive houses and a few run down areas of the city but overall its seen as an upscale neighborhood. The main strip is called Roswell Road and it has a multitude of shops on it. There are a few large companies that are headquarted there like Cox Enterprises (Cox Communications).

Sandy Springs is a nice area. You're just inside the perimeter, and everything you need is within about 10 minute drive or less.

They just became a city earlier this year. If they haven't already established their own police force, they will any time now.

Best to you.

In Atlanta, people drive crazy. The interstates are like race tracks. Wear your driving helmet.
