20 years, works really well and never been happier. I dont think age is an issue, its how you connect.

Bf is 8 years younger than me.
Previous partner was 13 years older and we were together for 27 years until he passed away 17 months ago.
I think it matters to a point though either way! 10 year age gap is about the best medium i'd say.......unless you are the same age or similar

My boyfriend is 2 1/2 years younger than me. Normally, with my level of responsibility and the fact I am on 22, you'd think a younger male wouldn't be suited. However Landon is absolutely perfect for me; he's very deep thinking, attuned, understanding, and gets along great with my children. You always hear about how males are slower to mature and normally that's true. But even truer than that is that you can't dismiss a person because they seem too old or too young. As long as it's legal and that person is truly suited to be with you, nothing else matters.
