Although globalization is a force that we cannot avoid, it will effect in some negative ways. We are seeing the effects in respect to jobs leaving the country. Also, as the economy becomes more globalized, more and more of our country's wealth will be drained by developing nations. Our living standard will not expand as fast as developing nations.
In the future, there would be little difference between the U.S. and another country, as there is little difference between New York and New Jersey.

Tried to find a high paying unskilled labor job lately?
How bout getting a loan from the National Treasury for some improvements for your State?
Know anyone that's had to change careers lately?
Anyone you know work at Wal-Mart and consider themselves well off?
Justified any medical expenses you've incurred as compared to the care you received?
Have you noticed that guy under the overpass has acquired a bunch of new neighbors?

Are you Blind or just considered mentally disabled?

Fewer jobs and lower pay.Limited choices in a career that will give sufficient economic rewards to enjoy the cheaper priced goods produced in under developed countries.

In short if it don't come from Wal-mart I can't afford it.

Mainly by leeching off the US until we are as screwed as the third world, while empowering the commie night mare that is China.
Otherwise, not too much.
