I was told about 12 years ago that I would have my own business it would stand on it's own, it would serve food and drink and it would be popular with youngsters, she told me I would meet someone from the past with the initials D.H.S.H.and he loved his country and I would revert to his culture, she said I would end up on my own with cats and live in a white bungalow.
Within 3 weeks I was offered a pub in Birmingham which was famous for it's music, it was an opportunity too good to miss so I bought it, it wasn't until I was standing outside this detached building I thought of the Gypsy.about two years later I received a wrong number call only to find it was an old boyfriend from 27 years previous his name Douglas Carl Hall Smith Haston he was proudly Scottish we were married but together only 3 years I moved to a rural area and started feeding the feral cats 9 they are now house cats, and I bet you cant guess whats coming next, I'm moving into a white bungalow at the end of Jan and I'm taking the cats with me.
The fortune teller has been at the Bull Ring market for years she has a Gypsy caravan.

I have gone to quite a few fortune tellers and they did take a fortune but no predictions that actually came true. I was told I would have two boys to a dark haired man - I have a boy and girl to a fair haired man, that I would live in a farm - I dont, That I would be rich i'm not and that I would be famous - not true. I have fortune tellers who have advertised they use runes but they have been cards and fortune tellers that dont know the meanings of the cards. And no long term predictions came true................

Back in the late 1960's I went with 4 friends to a woman who told fortunes from the pattern made by egg whites dropped into a glass of fresh water. We had to hold a fresh egg from our own 'fridge for about 20 minutes before we got there. We used fake names, but she accurately described the house I lived in, told me I would have trouble with a big dark coloured car soon and to sell it and that I was pregnant. She also said I would be married twice but that it was too far ahead to say what happened to the first husband. Our dark blue Chevy Nova estate car packed up without warning, the doctor confirmed three weeks later that I was pregnant with our (unplanned) forth child and 20 years later I got divorced. One girl who dropped her egg and borrowed one from a friends 'fridge had an almost identical reading to the friend, but I am still single, so perhaps husband No. 2 was a figment of the fortune teller's imagination?

Nope. A bunch of my friends and I went to a psychic in about 1979 and got readings. He told me I would be married by the end of that year, but not to the guy I was there with. (Who is now my husband of 24 years - we *did* marry each other and it wasn't for another *three* years -- battin' a thousand so far . . .) that I would have only one child, a male and no others. We have 2 sets of identical twin girls. Last but not least, he said that in two years, I would be hurt in a car accident with a snow plow on my way home from work, and end up collecting a 10 million dollar settlement, as a result. I'm still keeping an eye open, but since I'm a full-time housewife, it's now 27 years later and we've lived in Florida for the past twenty of them . . .

Not that recent.. 3 years ago. I was a total disbeliever but was told a list of things that have since happened. A couple of them I knew were impossible so took it with a pinch of salt but they happened. She also said personal stuff about a grandparent that had died. I had my fortune told spur of the moment so she knew nothing about me. I havent ever been again but it changed my opinion on "fortune tellers" although i believe many are fake

errrr...... its not fotune telling. and to answer your question, alot of "fortune tellers" (especially ones that call themselves that) ARE SCAMMERS! people that are willing to use their skill and inutition in order to help you are usually right. the reason why most of them charge you are because it takes time, and energy (i often feel drained after a reading). most of the time i myself will do free readings on those who genuinly need help. i know you didnt want to hear any recent events, but a few months ago my sister (who is ONLY 14) did a reading on someone. the person asked the cards (not my sister) how long her mother had to live. the cards signified a death and 28 days. sure enough the old woman died 28 days later.

Yes, A fortune cookie once told me that I would explore mysterious lands some 7 years ago, who would have thought that those lands would be Iraq while I was in the military.

My cousin did. A few years ago she went to one and was told that in the next couple months she would meet the man she would marry. 2 months later she met her fiance they have dated for 3 years and are getting married this spring. I don't know if it was just a coincidence or what but, I thought that was kinda cool.
