So tomorrow we are going on a class field trip to some amusement park. My knee and hip have been bothering me ever since i took a bad foul in a basketball game. Here are the specific questions i need answered...

1) If one of them gives out do i go to the first aid station first or tell a teacher first?

2) Should i go to the first aid station with a friend or just go by myself?

3) If the person at the first aid station is a guy and he has to touch my hip/knee how do i make myself feel comfortable about it?

and 4) Will he talk me through it?

any other advice/info would be AWESOME...thanks guys!

Tell a teacher first. He or she might find another responsible adult to take you to a first aid station. With an adult there, no one at a first aid station is going to do anything inappropriate.
Enjoy your trip

first aide at an amusement park cant really do much more than a band-aide or tylenol. they just keep a person stable until an ambulance arrives. If you are in need of that much assistance that you will need an ambulnace, have your friend tell a teacher, obviously. But as for if you get some kind of mild pain killer from the first aide, you need to tell your teacher. But just try no to dwell on the fact you might get hurt and do your best to have fun, just take it easy.

if you are with a class group, you never leave the group with out telling the teacher, usually an adult will go with you to an aid station. I don't know the answer to the rest.

do not go ANYWHERE alone...first you are on a field trip and should be using the buddy system...if you are injured then do not move and go anywhere...let them come to you and they will send someone to find your teacher for you but DO NOT let anyone treat you without the supervision of another adult female or at least another person you know present!

get a wheelchair. rent one so this doesn't happen.
or don't go on the trip if you think your hip/knee might give out.
bring your mom so she can take you to the hospital if it happens.
