Those who want to continue to lace the abortion issue with politics, how about going back to the Orphan Trains, why kill a perfectly good farm hand?

now now, we have to defend them while they are still in the womb.. but once they are out by God they don't get any more help from us! No social programs and all, you get the drift...
is that how a republican would answer?

My father was one of the orphan train kids. From his descriptions it was a very good thing for him. Growing up on a farm in Nebraska was much better for him then growing up in a NYC orphanage. However the conditions that made the orphan train successful no longer exist. Few farms now days are small family run operations, they tend to be much larger and function through a combination of mechanical and migrant labor. The orphan train also preceded child labor laws by several decades.
For it's time the orphan train was a good solution, I just don't think it would work in Corporate America.

Abortions are directly responsible for the illegal immigration issue. We lost too many laborers, creating a vacuum filled by Mexicans.

Why does it come to that when many people who abort are perfectly FIT to parent!!!
Many many are rich, smart,
a HUGE % of the women are college students and career women, so your argument fails when so many women perfectly capable of raising a child have abortions.
and guess what? MORE poor people don't have abortions and there are only more and more poor!!!!!!, there is MORE child abuse. If you look at the statistics, abortion has CAUSED more problems than it has prevented.
