I like creep also.
I like evanescence because its like every one has the experience of feeling like you suck and every thing goes wrong and all dark and black.

Yes, Creep is a good one.
But my favourites are David Bowie's Space Oddity and Oh! You pretty things. And Should I stay or should I go from the clash. I just love those songs, because they 're so amazing.

I like Creep too.
But my favourite is Riders on the Storm by the Doors. When my husband was ill some years ago with cancer all the words seemed to fit exactly where I was in life.
So I reckon Jim Morrison wrote it specially for me!

Deep meaningful, a muso's song. (Probably pretentious twaddle really but what the furk?)
"Winter" Antonio Vivaldi (The Four Seasons)
Etherially beautiful. Reminds me of days climbing Blencathra in the snow. (Not sure it counts as a song)

heatwave - always & forever & eric clapton - wonderful tonight because they are both brilliantly written, and are perfect love songs because they say everything that most people would like to say if only they knew how, the first of which was mine & the wifes first dance, does that make me a middle aged romantic or what.....
