I'm afraid I don't understand the question. Being alone and Feeling "Lonely" are two different things. Who cares what others "consider" you? You can be alone without being lonely. I love being alone. AND you can be very lonely without being alone. I think THAT is a lonelier loneliness. Being lonely when you are with "the one" feels sooo hopeless!!

I LIKE being alone -- but do I "Feel" Alone (as in that lonely feeling) -- certainly NOT!
There is a big, wide chasm between being a Confident Single living by themselves and being needy in terms of needing the validation of others to justify your continued existence or your emotional state ...
Because .. when it comes right down to it, ALONE is a state of being, and your emotions are affected by the WAY you determine to feel ... so yes, one can be ALONE in their own homes (and confidently so), but never feel "alone" emotionally.

Someone would have to tell you. Dragon's mum used to tell Dragon that Dragon was alone (even though Dragon didn't feel alone), and then Dragon found a boy, and now Dragon's mum doesn't talk about Dragon being alone anymore. How berry inneresting.

Sometimes when I am surrounded by many people I feel lonelier than I would feel if I was actually alone.

i think there are times in which we feel alone, when most other people would feel just the opposite. so i dont think that the situation or other's opinions matter when determining your state of mind.
