Always a good idea to bring an umbrella to Vancouver, no matter what time of year you are visiting. Its true that it might be cold, but if you are coming from a cold place (like the prairies or Alaska) then Vancouver will seem like a tropical rain forest =). Vancouver is always green and beautiful. Bring a warm spring jacket and take advantage of their excellent transit system, a wonderful tourist experience in itself =).

It will still be nippy, in fact you may even have some frosty mornings so take warm clothes.
