I know there are a lot of them out there. I don't necessarily want to buy the most expensive brand, but I want good quality. Give me some suggestions.

I want just music. I don't want an mp3 player that plays videos.

I personally own the Creative Zen V, and i like it. Its a good quality mp3 player and its got some kool features. The V Plus has even more of those kool features, all for a niice price.

Sandisk makes some really nice ones under the name Sansa the e200 series is probably one of the best mp3 players out on the market right now. It's better than the iPod Nano in every way but it doesn't have the brand name power.

well it depends on what u want in ur mp3 player.
video
just music
or the whole works.

for just music i reccomend the ipod nano
for videos i reccomend either creative zen products or the ipod video (zen products have bigger screens)
for the WHOLE works i recommend the archos 604 or archos 604 wi-fi but thats kinda up there in price
